Dr. Ty Reidenbaugh’s engagement with patients is best defined by the principle of unconditional positive regard. He maintains that addressing the causes and consequences of the disease of addiction should be done while honoring the dignity of his patients. He has lectured on substance use diagnosis, screening and treatment, dual diagnosis and harm reduction strategies to healthcare workers and community collaborators. Dr. Reidenbaugh is board certified in general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and in addiction medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
