Caitlin McIntyre is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who has been practicing for over 10 years.
She is originally from Wisconsin but made the move to Montana in 2010 after completing her undergraduate degree. It remains the best decision she’s ever made. She greatly respects the people of this state; their values, warmth and hardworking mentality.
In 2014 she graduated from Vanderbilt University’s Masters of Nursing program. She went on to work at Recovery Center of Missoula where she met and collaborated with many of the current members of the 406 Recovery Team.
Caitlin uses a client centered, evidenced based approach in her practice. She believes connection and security to be at the heart of what we do in behavioral health and that every person deserves to be met where they are. She is a fierce advocate for her patients and holds onto eternal hope for all.
Caitlin believes in treating the whole person. A holistic approach involves the use of therapy, medication management, complementary and alternative modalities, diet, exercise, spiritual practice, etc.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jesse, 15 month old son Firn and Bernese Mountain Dog, Layla. When they aren’t running around in the mountains they can be found cooking a good meal, listening to tunes and going on an evening stroll.
